In what can only be described as perfect weather, Soda turned around a 1 point defecit after Thursday's matches to take a 2 point lead on Friday and then expanded the lead to 6 points after the Saturday individual matches. Soda, led by the return to play by Tom "JJ" Nicholson and the unexpected improved play from this years GOTY, Greg "Otis" Dairl, was just too strong for Corn to overcome as JJ and Otis swept the final day individual matches.
The 4-man scramble was won by the team of JJ, Otis, Roy "Tanman" Tanner, and Dave "Jack" Nicholson as they edged the 2nd place team of Scott "Snatch" Anderson, Brian "Iced Tea" Jackson, Gary "Snuffy" Shaw and newcomer Jay "NoMoo" Walsh by 1 shot.
Closest to the pin was won by JJ who hit it to 9 feet on the 140 yard 5th hole at Shingle Creek. Snatch, who ended up earning the Big Duffer jacket, took the long drive competition on the 16th hole at the same venue. JJ also captured the 2 buck award with his hunger for stale popcorn.
Partner with a Pro ended in a tie between Snuffy and Pete "Sticks" Stracke with Snuffy riding a resurgent Matt Kuchar while Sticks put his faith in Canadian Corey Conners who eventually won the tournament on Sunday. NoMoo came in third, also selecting to partner with Kuchar.

Overview
The Executive Committee reviewed past locales for the event and realized we had not been back to the Orlando region of FL in over 15 years. This needed to be rectified so Orlando, FL was chosen as the destination for the 2023 event.
Orlando's current and longest serving mayor (elected in 2003), John Hugh "Buddy" Dyer stated "Having the C&S tournament return to Orlando is a welcome addition for our south Florida sports fans, especially with the recent playoff loss by the Dolphins. We are excited to have it here and look forward to hosting it".
